When Chase took over WaMu, I was a little peeved that my cash-back bonus was being turned into a “reward points” program.
Then I found out the points could be redeemed for Amazon gift certificates at a rate equivalent to the former cash-back bonus. No problem, then. We easily spend enough at Amazon annually to make it worth it.
So I go online to redeem points for gift certificates from an online retailer. Said certificates are really just nice little containers for a unique code that I’ll enter online to redeem them.
Which I can do in three to seven days when they arrive in the mail.
