The replacement for "friends" on Tumblr is right in front of us
Right there in your Dashboard sidebar, there’s a list of your “Followers”, aptly named because that’s what they’re doing. They’re following your tumble.
My proposed replacements for the two places in which “friend” appears:
- “Follow this tumblelog” to replace “Add to friends” in the little utility bug in the upper right when you’re logged in.
- “You’re following” to replace “Friends” in the Dashboard sidebar
(in response to too many to credit, but I’ll link to marco in case that’ll put it on his radar :-))
