Well why not?

Ever since my Powerbook’s power supply failed the smoke test, I’ve had to put up with this message. I always assumed it was Apple’s passive-aggressive way of saying “you bought a third-party charger, so we’re not sure what’s going on”. Which seems a bit smug when they’ve got such a horrible quality record with their own supplies (for this model Powerbook).
Well why not?
