The Droste Effect is when a package contains a photo of the package.
 


One of my earliest memories is of the special bag they would put frozen foods in at the IGA. The picture on the bag was of an IGA grocer putting frozen food in a bag which had a picture of a grocer putting frozen food in a bag, which had a picture….
I don’t remember how many iterations, but I know there were at least three grocers discernible (not counting the real one, who didn’t look anything like the ones on the bag).
