Trumang Watch

On July 19th, 2009, @sloganeerist made a joke.

For unknown reasons (other than it being funny), it was quickly and extremely widely stolen rather than retweeted.

On July 27th, 2009, I set up a tumblelog called Trumang Watch to provide a place to archive further theft via a Twitter search feed.

Moments later I decided it was a stupid idea, and to date have mentioned it to nobody.

It now has 109 posts, including one from just 13 hours ago.

That the theft is still propagating nearly two full months later seemed noteworthy.
