“Tonight You Belong to Me” was written in 1926 by Billy Rose & Lee David. It was performed by Steve Martin and Bernadette Peters in the 1979 movie The Jerk. There’s a video of that scene on YouTube, in fact, and you should probably go check it out because it’s so just too sweet. This just happens to be my version. Recorded for Anna, who desperately needs to have a good week at work. Also, I can’t stop playing this damn ukulele.
